Xinquan WANG

Xinquan WANG is a Professor in the School of Life Sciences at Tsinghua University. He earned his B.S. from Fudan University (1990–1995) and Ph.D. from the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (1995–2000). He served as a Research Associate at the Institute of Biophysics (2001–2003) and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stanford University (2003–2008). Since 2008, he has been a Tenure-track Associate Professor and has been a Tenured Professor at Tsinghua University since 2013. His research focuses on cell surface receptor recognition and activation, particularly in the interleukin 1 (IL-1) family and viral entry mechanisms. His work includes structural studies of receptor-ligand interactions and viral spike proteins.
