Wei ZHANG

Wei ZHANG is a Faculty member in the School of Life Sciences at Tsinghua University. His research focuses on brain-organ communications and the role of interoception in physiological and psychological homeostasis. He has conducted multidimensional research on nerve-organ communication and physiological regulation. His work includes exploring molecular and neural mechanisms of interoception through a bottom-up approach. He is affiliated with the Peking-Tsinghua Joint Center for Life Sciences and the IDG/McGovern Institute for Brain Research at Tsinghua University. He has published extensively in leading scientific journals, including Science, Nature Communications, and eLife.
