Tong WANG

Tong WANG is a Faculty member in the School of Life Sciences at Tsinghua University. He holds a Ph.D. from Tsinghua University and completed a visiting Ph.D. scholarship at Harvard University. His research focuses on integrating AI with biological molecular structures to advance methodology design and real-world applications, including molecular structure representation learning, property prediction, and drug discovery. His work includes AI-driven biomolecular dynamics simulations, deep learning-based biological structure modeling, and dynamic biomechanism detection. Selected publications include studies in Nature, Cell Research, and NeurIPS. He is currently an Assistant Professor and PI at Tsinghua-Peking Center for Life Sciences.

Tong Wang is a computational biologist and structural biologist at Tsinghua University, focusing on the intersection of computational biology, structural biology, and machine learning. His research leverages advanced machine learning techniques to address challenges in drug–drug interaction prediction, protein structure prediction, and molecular dynamics simulations. Wang's work includes developing novel frameworks for geometric deep learning, such as equivariant vector-scalar interactive message passing, and exploring the structural basis of viral interactions, such as the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron RBD-ACE2 interaction. His contributions aim to enhance the accuracy and scalability of computational models for biological systems.
