Regular biography
Tian WANG is a Faculty member in the School of Life Sciences at Tsinghua University. He earned his B.S. from Tsinghua University in 2014 and his Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego in 2020. Following his postdoctoral fellowship at the Salk Institute, he joined Tsinghua University as a Lecturer and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2020. His research focuses on the role of transcription coactivators in maintaining energy homeostasis, utilizing molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, and bioinformatics. He teaches courses in genetics, biological clocks, and biochemistry. His work has been published in journals such as the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences and Science China Life Sciences. He has received several awards, including the First Prize in the competition of Professional Teaching Skills at Tsinghua University in 2020.
