Qiang WANG is a Faculty member in the School of Life Sciences at Tsinghua University. He holds a Ph.D. from the Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and completed postdoctoral training at the University of California, San Francisco, and Harvard Medical School. His research focuses on the activation of brown and beige fat, aiming to uncover molecular mechanisms that contribute to obesity and metabolic disorders. His work employs biochemical, molecular, and cellular approaches to study fat conversion and energy metabolism. He is currently a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor and serves as a Principal Investigator at the Tsinghua-Peking Center for Life Sciences.
