Regular biography
Peng JIANG is a Faculty member at the School of Life Sciences, Tsinghua University. He holds the title of Associate Professor and is affiliated with the Tsinghua-Peking Center for Life Sciences. His research focuses on tumor and immune cell metabolism, particularly how metabolic reprogramming influences tumor development and anti-tumor immune responses. His work explores the role of metabolic pathways such as the urea cycle and one-carbon metabolism in cancer progression, as well as the impact of specific metabolites on immune cell function. He has contributed to significant findings in the field, including the effects of p53 mutations on metabolic pathways and the role of metabolites like fumarate and citrulline in immune responses. His research has been published in prominent journals such as Nature, Cell Metabolism, and Nature Communications.
