Junmin PAN

Junmin PAN is a Professor in the School of Life Sciences at Tsinghua University. His research interests include ciliary biology and synthetic biology of microalgae. The laboratory focuses on elucidating molecular mechanisms regulating ciliary motility, assembly, and disassembly using model organisms such as Chlamydomonas and mammalian cell systems. Additionally, the lab develops genetic engineering tools for modifying microalgae for commercial and industrial applications. PAN has published extensively in leading scientific journals, including Current Biology, PNAS, and FASEB Journal, contributing to the understanding of ciliary function and its implications in human disease.
