Regular biography
Jizong WANG is an Assistant Professor in the School of Life Sciences at Tsinghua University. He joined the faculty in 2025 after completing his postdoctoral fellowship at Tsinghua University's School of Life Sciences. His research focuses on light perception, signal transduction, and energy utilization in plants, with particular emphasis on red/far-red light signal transduction and the biosynthesis of photosynthetic pigments. His work integrates biochemistry, structural biology, and genetics to advance understanding of plant photoreception and related processes.
