Regular biography
Haiteng Deng is a faculty member in the School of Life Sciences at Tsinghua University. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Pennsylvania State University and has a background in chemistry from Wuhan University. Deng has held various postdoctoral and faculty positions at institutions such as the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Rockefeller University, and New York University. His research interests include proteomics, metabolomics, and chemical biology, with a focus on redox regulation in aging and associated diseases. He has contributed to several publications in peer-reviewed journals, including studies on flavonoids, nicotinamide mononucleotide, and oxidative stress. Deng is affiliated with multiple research centers and institutes at Tsinghua University, including the Center for Life Sciences and the MOE Key Laboratory of Protein Sciences.
