Haifeng WANG

Haifeng WANG is a Faculty member in the School of Life Sciences at Tsinghua University. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis, USA, and completed his postdoctoral research at Stanford University, USA. He has been affiliated with Tsinghua University since 2021, initially as an Assistant Professor and now as an Associate Professor. He is also the Principal Investigator at the Center for Life Sciences, Tsinghua University. His research interests include the development and application of CRISPR technologies to study cell and developmental biology, as well as their use in medical diagnosis and therapy. His work focuses on understanding the regulatory mechanisms of the 3D genome and transcriptome in living cells and applying these tools to disease-related mechanisms.

Haifeng Wang is a researcher at Tsinghua University with expertise in cell biology, bioengineering, cellular imaging, and gene regulation. His work focuses on the application of CRISPR technology for genome editing, transcriptional regulation, and live imaging of genomic processes. Wang has explored the interplay between metabolic pathways and gene regulation in cancer, as well as the engineering of 3D genome organization and nuclear dynamics. His research also includes the development of CRISPR-based tools for imaging and inhibiting viral infections, such as SARS-CoV-2. Additionally, he investigates the molecular mechanisms underlying cellular motility and spindle dynamics in mitosis.
