Gong CHEN

Gong CHEN is a lecturer in the School of Life Sciences at Tsinghua University. He completed his B.S. at the College of Life Sciences, Wuhan University, and his Ph.D. at the College of Life Sciences, Beijing Normal University. He served as a postdoctoral fellow at Tsinghua University from 2020 to 2022 before becoming a lecturer in 2022. His research interests include inter- and intra-specific divergence of bird vocalization and plumage, as well as the syntax and musicality of bird vocalization. His work has been published in journals such as Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution and Behavioural Processes.
