Regular biography
Martin Burda is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Toronto. His research focuses on econometrics and applied econometrics. He has published in leading journals such as Econometric Reviews, the Journal of Applied Econometrics, and the Journal of Econometrics. His work includes topics like Bayesian semi-parametric models, copula-based factorization, and panel probit with flexible correlated effects. Burda teaches courses in econometrics, time series forecasting, and mathematics for PhD students.
