Margarida Duarte

Margarida Duarte is a Professor and Vice-Dean Undergraduate at the University of Toronto at Mississaugua, affiliated with the Department of Economics. Her research focuses on macroeconomics and international economics. She holds a Ph.D. (University of Rochester, 2001), M.A. (University of Rochester, 1998), and B.A. (Universidade Nova de Lisboa, 1993). Duarte's work includes studies on structural transformation, monetary policy in open economies, and exchange rates. She has published in journals such as the Quarterly Journal of Economics, Journal of International Money and Finance, and Journal of Monetary Economics.
