Regular biography
Joao Ritto is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Toronto. His research focuses on macroeconomics. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania (2024), an M.Sc. from the Nova School of Business and Economics (2015), and a B.Sc. from the Nova School of Business and Economics (2013). Ritto teaches courses such as Special Topics in Economics: Monetary Theory and Policy Analysis and Monetary Theory.
