Regular biography
Jennifer Murdock is a Professor, Teaching Stream, in the Department of Economics at the University of Toronto. She holds a Ph.D. (Yale, 2002) and an M.Phil (Yale, 2000). Her research includes topics such as teaching and learning communities in economics and congestion measurement in travel cost models. She has received the President's Teaching Award at the University of Toronto in 2018 and the Faculty of Arts & Science Outstanding Teaching Award in 2014. Murdock teaches courses such as Introduction to Data Analysis and Applied Econometrics. Her work has been published in journals like the Journal of Economic Education and the American Economic Association Papers and Proceedings.
