Daniel Posen

Daniel Posen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil & Mineral Engineering at the University of Toronto. He serves as Associate Chair, Graduate Programs, and holds the Canada Research Chair in System-Scale Environmental Impacts of Energy and Transport Technologies. His research focuses on system-scale environmental sustainability analysis, with an emphasis on life cycle assessment and life cycle thinking. His work explores sustainable infrastructure, greenhouse gas mitigation strategies, and the environmental consequences of technology deployment at scale. Posen is cross-appointed to ISTEP and affiliated with several research groups and initiatives at the University of Toronto.

I. Daniel Posen is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, specializing in sustainability analysis, life-cycle assessment, and greenhouse gas (GHG) mitigation.
