Regular biography
Dr. Zhao Jin is a Senior Lecturer (Educator Track) in the Computer Science department at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from NUS, earned in 2013, and a B.Sc. in Computer Science (Minor: Mathematics) from NUS, completed in 2006. His teaching interests include Introductory Computing and Software Engineering Project courses, with a focus on NUS Orbital, an independent software development project course that attracts over 1000 students annually. Dr. Zhao's research interests are in Information Retrieval and Natural Language Processing, with publications in international conferences on Digital Libraries and Medical Informatics.
