Regular biography
Ambuj VARSHNEY is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore. His research interests include wireless communication, internet of things, embedded systems, and mobile computing. His group, WEISER, focuses on tackling the energy challenge in embedded systems to enable sustainable deployment. His work addresses energy-efficient reception in IoT devices using technologies such as tunnel diodes and LiFi. He has published extensively in top conferences such as ACM MOBICOM and ACM SENSYS. He also serves on the organizing and program committees of major scientific conferences.
