Regular biography
Roland Yap Hock Chuan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Monash University, Australia, and has served as an assistant director at The Logistics Institute Asia Pacific (TLI-AP) at NUS. His research interests include artificial intelligence, constraints, data analytics, programming languages, security, and social networks. He has contributed to pioneering work in CLP(R) and the CLP(R) system, which has influenced the field of Constraint Programming. His research has been published in prominent conferences and journals, including AAAI, NDSS, and PVLDB.
