Xiaokui Xiao is a Professor at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore. He serves as Deputy Head of the Department of Computer Science and Director of the Singapore Blockchain Innovation Programme. His research interests include data management, data analytics, data privacy, and algorithms for large data. Xiao holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and has held academic positions at Nanyang Technological University. He has received several awards, including the 2024 ACM SIGMOD Test-of-Time Award, the 2022 ACM SIGMOD Research Highlight Award, and the VLDB 2021 Best Research Paper Award. He is an IEEE Fellow, an ACM Distinguished Member, and a trustee of the VLDB Endowment.
