Suranga NANAYAKKARA

Suranga Chandima NANAYAKKARA is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science, School of Computing, National University of Singapore (NUS). He is also the Vice-Dean, Communications, Director of the Centre for Holistic Inquiry into Lifelong Learning (CHILL), and a PI at the Smart Systems Institute (SSI). His research focuses on intelligent systems, human augmentation, and human-computer interaction, with an emphasis on assistive technologies. Suranga has led projects such as the Augmented Human Lab, which explores intelligent human-computer interfaces to enhance perceptual and cognitive capabilities. He has also contributed to educational initiatives in computational thinking and has published extensively in top conferences and journals. Suranga holds a PhD and BEng from NUS and has held academic positions at the University of Auckland and Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).
