STEPHAN, Frank Christian

Frank Christian Stephan is a Professor at the National University of Singapore, jointly appointed by the Departments of Mathematics (primary) and Computer Science (secondary). His research interests lie in mathematical logic and theoretical computer science, specifically recursion theory, inductive inference, automata theory, automatic structures, algorithmic randomness, and computational complexity. He is an editor of the journal Computability and an associate editor of the Journal of Computer and System Sciences. His work includes significant contributions to areas such as parity games and algorithmic randomness, with notable awards including the STOC 2017 Best Paper Award and the EATCS-IPEC Nerode Prize 2021.
