Regular biography
SOO Yuen Jien is an Associate Professor (Educator Track) in the Department of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore. He has been affiliated with NUS for over 20 years and has been teaching for more than 10 years. His research areas include Systems & Networking, Education Technology, Computer Architecture, and Parallel Programming. He has taught courses such as CS2106 Introduction to Operating Systems. SOO has received several teaching awards, including the NUS Outstanding Educator Award (2018) and the NUS Annual Teaching Excellence Awards (2008, 2011, 2013).
