Peh Li Shiuan

Peh Li Shiuan is a Provost's Chair Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore. She holds a courtesy appointment in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. She joined NUS in September 2016 after previously serving as Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT from 2009. She also held the Associate Director for Outreach role at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research & Technology (SMART) from 2014 to 2016. Her research interests include systems and networking, with a focus on networked computing, many-core chips, and mobile wireless systems. She has received several awards, including the IEEE Fellow title in 2017 and the ACM Distinguished Scientist Award in 2011.

Li-Shiuan Peh is a Professor of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore, specializing in Computer Architecture and Low-power Systems. Her research focuses on energy-efficient computing, particularly in the design and optimization of interconnection networks for on-chip systems. She has contributed significantly to the development of power and area models, such as Orion and Orion 2.0, which support early-stage design space exploration. Her work also addresses thermal management, dynamic voltage scaling, and the integration of emerging technologies like photonics into opto-electronic networks-on-chip. Peh's research emphasizes the design of efficient, scalable, and low-power architectures for modern computing systems.
