Ooi Wei Tsang

Ooi Wei Tsang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore. His research interests include interactive and networked multimedia applications, with a focus on volumetric video streaming, networked virtual environments, and cloud gaming systems. He is also interested in building multimedia and intelligent systems for better wellness and healthcare. Ooi received his B.Sc. (Hon.) degree from NUS in 1996 and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cornell University in 2001. He spent a year as a postdoc fellow at the Berkeley Multimedia Research Center before joining NUS Computing as a faculty member.
