NG See Kiong is a Professor (Practice Track) at the Department of Computer Science, National University of Singapore. He serves as Director of AI Technology at AI Singapore and Deputy Director of the Institute of Data Science (IDS) at NUS. His research interests include Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Privacy-preserving Techniques, Smart Cities, and Computational Biology. He holds a M.S.E. in Computer & Information Science: Artificial Intelligence from the University of Pennsylvania (1990) and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University (1998). Prior to joining NUS, he was Programme Director of the Urban Systems Initiative at A*STAR and Principal Scientist at the Institute for Infocomm Research.
