Regular biography
Mong Cheng, Terence SIM is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore. His research interests include Biometrics, Deepfake synthesis and detection, Facial image analysis and rendering, Continuous authentication, and Machine Learning. He teaches courses such as Biometrics Authentication and has published over 130 papers in top international journals and conferences. Dr. Sim is also Vice Dean for Admissions at NUS and has held leadership roles in several academic organizations. His work combines machine learning with physics-based modeling and graphics rendering to address challenges in biometrics and visual computing.
