Regular biography
Jane E is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore. Before joining NUS, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford HAI in Computer Science, mentored by James Landay. Prior to that, she was also a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Design Lab @ UCSD as part of the debut cohort of UCSD CSE’s Postdoctoral Fellows Program, where she was mentored by Haijun Xia and Steven Dow. She graduated from Stanford University in 2021 with a PhD in Computer Science where she was coadvised by James Landay and Pat Hanrahan. Her research lies primarily at the intersection of human computer interaction, human-centered AI, and computer graphics.
