Regular biography
Diptarka Chakraborty is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore. He earned his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India, in 2016. Following his PhD, he worked as a post-doctoral fellow at Charles University, Prague, and the Weizmann Institute of Science. His research focuses on theoretical computer science, particularly algorithms on large data sets, sublinear algorithms, approximation algorithms, graph algorithms, and data structures. He has contributed to various research projects and publications in these areas.
