CHUA Tat Seng

CHUA Tat Seng is a Professor at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore (NUS). He serves as Director of the NUS-Tsinghua Extreme Search Center (NExT) and holds the KITHCT Chair Professor title. His research interests include multimodal foundation models, responsible AI, conversational search, and recommendation systems. Dr. Chua is also a Distinguished Visiting Professor at Tsinghua University, Sichuan University, and Zhengzhou University. He has led several research projects funded by agencies such as NRF Singapore, AIDF, and DSTA, focusing on areas like AI and media. Dr. Chua has co-founded two technology startups in Singapore and has been involved in numerous academic conferences and publications.

Tat-Seng Chua is a researcher focused on robust and trustable AI, multimodal analytics, and recommender systems.
