CHAN Mun Choon is a Professor in the School of Computing at the National University of Singapore. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and has worked at Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies, where he contributed to network management and wireless data transport. His research areas include sensor network protocols, mobile sensing, and programmable networks. He has published over 100 conference and journal papers, received best paper awards, and holds seven US patents. Chan is also involved in several research projects, including the NUS-NCS Joint Laboratory for Cyber Security.
