Chan Chee Yong

Dr. Chan Chee Yong is an Associate Professor in the School of Computing at the National University of Singapore (NUS). His research focuses on database systems, particularly query processing and optimization, transaction management, and database usability. His work has been published in leading conferences such as ACM SIGMOD, VLDB, and IEEE ICDE. Dr. Chan has also served as an Associate Editor for ACM SIGMOD Record and VLDB Journal. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in Computer Science from NUS. Prior to joining NUS, he was a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories, Lucent Technologies.
