Wong Liang Jie

Wong Liang Jie is an associate professor at Nanyang Technological University, affiliated with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Liang Jie Wong is a Provost's Chair Professor in X-ray Photonics at Nanyang Technological University. His research focuses on X-ray photonics, quantum nanophotonics, ultrafast optics, and free electron waveshaping. His work explores advanced topics such as compact electron acceleration, graphene plasmon-based X-ray sources, and quantum electrodynamical processes. He has contributed to the development of perovskite scintillators for high-resolution imaging and the control of electromagnetic fields at arbitrary geometries. His research also includes the study of laser-induced particle acceleration and the generation of tunable free-electron X-ray radiation from van der Waals materials.
