Prof Liu Zheng is a President's Chair Professor at Nanyang Technological University, School of Materials Science & Engineering. His research focuses on the synthesis and engineering of diverse two-dimensional (2D) material libraries, including metals, semiconductors, and magnets, with applications in advanced electronics and green energy. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed papers in top journals and has been recognized for his contributions to 2D materials-based nanoelectronics and energy components. Prof Liu holds a B.S. degree from Nankai University and a Ph.D. from the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, China. He has worked at Rice University as a joint postdoc research fellow and research scientist.
