Liu Zheng

Prof Liu Zheng is a President's Chair Professor at Nanyang Technological University, School of Materials Science & Engineering. His research focuses on the synthesis and engineering of diverse two-dimensional (2D) material libraries, including metals, semiconductors, and magnets, with applications in advanced electronics and green energy. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed papers in top journals and has been recognized for his contributions to 2D materials-based nanoelectronics and energy components. Prof Liu holds a B.S. degree from Nankai University and a Ph.D. from the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, China. He has worked at Rice University as a joint postdoc research fellow and research scientist.

Zheng Liu is a professor at Nanyang Technological University, specializing in 2D materials and their applications in electronics. His research focuses on the synthesis, characterization, and functionalization of 2D materials such as graphene, transition metal dichalcogenides, and hexagonal boron nitride. Liu's work explores the growth of high-quality 2D materials via chemical vapor deposition and investigates their electronic, optical, and mechanical properties. His research interests include 2D electronics, bandgap engineering, and flexible sensing technologies for wearable health monitoring. He has published extensively on the synthesis and properties of 2D materials and their heterostructures.
