Xiao, Tianshu Nanyang is an Assistant Professor in the School of Biological Sciences at Nanyang Technological University. His research focuses on antiviral inhibitor development, leveraging structural insights from viral fusion proteins such as the flavivirus E protein and coronavirus S protein. His work includes the development of small molecule and peptide-based inhibitors to block membrane fusion processes, utilizing in-house antibody-guided platforms and AI-based approaches for drug design. Xiao's research areas include virus, structural biology, drug development, AI-based de novo design, and membrane fusion.
