Ulrike Malmendier is the Edward and Mollie Arnold Professor of Finance and Professor of Economics at the University of California, Berkeley. She is affiliated with the Department of Economics and the Haas School of Business. Her research focuses on finance, including corporate finance, behavioral finance, behavioral economics, economics of organizations, contract theory, law and finance, and economics of institutions. She received her PhD in Business Economics from Harvard University in 2002 and joined UC Berkeley in 2006.
