Professor Stephan Christoph Schuster is a member of the School of Biological Sciences at Nanyang Technological University. His research focuses on genomic studies, including the genetic structures of species and mapping temporal and spatial patterns of organismal communities. His work involves next-generation sequencing and computational techniques, with a particular emphasis on microbial identification and genetic differences in higher organisms. Recent efforts have centered on sequencing human indigenous populations in Asia, as well as advancing bioaerosol research through ultra-low biomass analysis.
