Grüber, Gerhard

Professor Gerhard Grüber is a member of the School of Biological Sciences at Nanyang Technological University. His research focuses on the structure and mechanism of mycobacterial enzymes related to bioenergetics, stress response, and coenzyme A biosynthesis, as well as the oxidative phosphorylation pathway of Acinetobacter baumannii. His work explores the relationships between these enzymes and their potential as targets for antimicrobial resistance and drug discovery. The laboratory employs molecular biology, protein chemistry, structural, biochemical, and biophysical approaches to develop new inhibitors and lead compounds against drug-resistant pathogens.
