Regular biography
Dr. Grüber Ardina is a Senior Lecturer Associate Chair (Academic) in the School of Biological Sciences at Nanyang Technological University. Her research interests focus on understanding the role of nucleotides in cellular processes, including their involvement in metabolic regulation, energy transfer, and nucleic acid synthesis. She is also interested in RNA binding proteins and their role in the life cycle of Plasmodium species, particularly in relation to malaria. Her work includes structural and biochemical studies of reticulocyte binding proteins from Plasmodium yoelii and RNA viruses such as Dengue and Zika.
