Pierre-Olivier Gourinchas

Pierre-Olivier Gourinchas is a Professor of Economics, Department of Economics, and S.K. and Angela Chan Professor of Global Management, Haas School of Business, at the University of California, Berkeley. He is also Director of the Clausen Center for International Business and Policy. His research focuses on Finance, International Economics, and Macroeconomics. Gourinchas holds a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has taught at Stanford Graduate School of Business and Princeton University. He is a Research Associate with the National Bureau of Economic Research and a Research Fellow with the Centre for Economic Policy Research and the International Growth Center. He is editor of the IMF Economic Review and associate editor of the Journal of the European Economic Association.
