Frederico Finan

Frederico Finan is the George Break and Helen Schnacke Break Distinguished Professor of Economics and Professor of Business Administration at the University of California, Berkeley, in the Department of ECON. His research focuses on Development Economics and Political Economics. Finan joined the department in 2009 as an assistant professor and previously served as an assistant professor of economics at UCLA. He holds a PhD in Agriculture and Resource Economics from UC-Berkeley, earned in 2006. He is affiliated with the Bureau for Research and Economic Analysis of Development (BREAD) and is a research fellow at IZA and the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER).
