Admir Masic is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His research focuses on the science-enabled engineering of sustainable construction materials for large-scale infrastructure innovation. Masic, a chemist by training, specializes in the development of multifunctional cement-based materials, including self-healing concrete, carbon-absorbing concretes, and electron-conducting cement-based materials.
