Vijay Gerard D'Silva

Vijay Gerard D'Silva is a Senior Lecturer, Work and Organization Studies, at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Department of BUS. He joined MIT Sloan in 2022 and teaches a course on leadership development while regularly lecturing on financial technology. His research interests span corporate strategy, organizational effectiveness, and the intersection of finance and technology. Prior to MIT, D'Silva was a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company, retiring in 2022 after a 28-year career. He held leadership roles in McKinsey Digital, Sales & Marketing, Payments, and Risk Management. At MIT, he also serves on the boards of Worldpay and Moneycorp and is an advisor to NYCA Partners. His work focuses on strategy, technology, talent, and risk management, with a background in computer science and extensive experience in financial technology and organizational effectiveness.
