Peter M. Senge is a Senior Lecturer in Leadership and Sustainability at the MIT Sloan School of Management. His work centers on promoting shared understanding of complex issues and shared leadership for healthier human systems, involving major cross-sector projects focused on global food systems, climate change, regenerative economies, and the future of education. He is the author of The Fifth Discipline and coauthor of Presence and The Necessary Revolution. His research and teaching emphasize organizational learning, fostering learning communities, and systemic change. Senge is the founding chair of SoL (Society of Organizational Learning) and cofounder of the Academy for Systemic Change. He has been at the forefront of organizational learning since publishing The Fifth Discipline in 1990. Senge describes his process as 'sharing' rather than 'teaching', aiming to help people see new possibilities. He continues to push the boundaries of our understanding of organizational learning through workshops and seminars.
