Mostafa Terrab is a Distinguished Senior Lecturer in Operations Research and Statistics at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He is chairman and CEO of the OCP Group, a global leader in crop nutrition solutions headquartered in Morocco. OCP develops Morocco’s world-leading reserves of phosphorus into a diverse range of products for farmers worldwide. Starting in 2004, he led the transformation of OCP’s predecessor entity from a mining-focused organization to a global leader in its field. He also oversaw the establishment of the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, a world-class research and teaching institution in Morocco. His career spans public, private, and academic sectors, with notable roles at the World Bank and Morocco’s telecom regulatory authority. He is a member of the board of directors of the Peterson Institute for International Economics and the Global Board of Advisors of the Council on Foreign Relations.
