Jonathan J. Fleming

Jonathan J. Fleming is a Senior Lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, affiliated with the Sloan School of Management and the Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship. His research and professional work focus on entrepreneurship, particularly in the life sciences. Fleming has been founding, financing, and operating breakthrough life science companies for over 30 years across multiple continents. He has raised more than $1 billion for early stage investment funds, resulting in over 200 investments, including more than 20 IPOs and 40 M&A events. He has served as CEO, chairman, and director of various companies and has collaborated with seven Nobel laureates to develop companies based on their research. Fleming has been a senior lecturer at the Sloan School since 2002 and holds an MPA from Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School and a BA from the University of California, Berkeley.
