Fiona E. Murray

Fiona E. Murray is the William Porter (1967) Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the School of Management. She is also a Professor of Technological Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Management. Murray serves as Co-Director of the MIT Innovation Initiative, Faculty Director of The MIT Kuo Sharper Center for Prosperity and Entrepreneurship, and an associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research. Her research focuses on the transformation of investments in science and technology into deep-tech start-up ventures that address global challenges. She has held leadership roles in various innovation initiatives and has contributed to policy discussions on science and technology. Murray is also involved in educational programs aimed at training the next generation of innovators and leaders.
