Erin L. Scott is a Senior Lecturer in the Technological Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Management department at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her research focuses on Strategy for Startups, with publications in journals such as Harvard Business Review, Management Science, and Strategy Science. She teaches courses on Entrepreneurial Strategy and Entrepreneurial Founding & Teams at MIT Sloan and has previously served as an Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore Business School. Scott also holds an MBA-MS and BE in biomedical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and Vanderbilt University, respectively. She has contributed to the development of the Entrepreneurial Strategy course, which was recognized with the 2021 Innovation in Entrepreneurship Pedagogy Award.
