Regular biography
Courtney Collette is Lecturer on Family Enterprise at MIT Sloan School of Management. With over 20 years of experience, she has served as an educator, researcher, and advisor to enterprising families and ownership groups globally, focusing on long-term success strategies. Collette designs and teaches in open and custom MIT executive education programs on family enterprise, including the Future Family Enterprise program, where she is lead coach. Her work addresses family unity, governance, next generation readiness, succession transitions, and family office strategy. She is a partner at Cambridge Family Enterprise Group, leading its education and research institute. Prior to MIT, she spent 13 years at Harvard Business School researching and designing family enterprise MBA courses. Collette has authored several works on family enterprise success, including co-authored books: Next Generation Success and Family Office Navigator.
