Carl Stjernfeldt is a Lecturer in Finance at the MIT Sloan School of Management. His professional focus includes energy transition investments across various market segments and deal stages. Previously, he led the Corporate Development group in Americas for Shell New Energies, focusing on renewables and emerging business models. He also served as the senior US member of the Shell ventures team and headed the digital investment fund. Carl has been recognized as a top 100 star in Global Corporate Venturing in 2017 and 2018. At MIT, he is active in the Deshpande Center, judges MIT's 100K competition, and teaches an entrepreneurial finance class at the Sloan School.
